Supporters of the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine are invited to an evening event for our charity, generously hosted by Vernon and Hazel Ellis at their home at 49 Queens Gate Terrace.

As a centrepiece, a recital will be given by renowned classical accordionist Owen Murray. Accompanied by a string quartet, his theme will be literature and music and will embrace works by Hans Christian Andersen and Carl Sagan. The composers are Patrick Nunn, Poul Ruders and Gerardo Gozzi. There will also be pieces by Mozart and Astor Piazzolla.

Wine and canapés will be served.

The emergence of the classical accordion as a recognised and respected instrument on the UK concert platform is due in no small way to the efforts and achievements of Owen, who has single-handedly pioneered an awareness and enthusiasm for the instrument in the classical music world.

Tickets cost £20 plus a suggested donation (i.e. Gift Aid element) of £30. Booking is by email only.
