With 40 years of experience treating artists, creators and professionals, we understand the unique physical and psychological demands of the performing arts.

On stage, backstage, on set, in the studio, teaching, on tour, at college – if you have a health problem related to your work or study in performing arts, BAPAM can help.

We provide free face to face consultations around the UK, with the benefits of comprehensive assessment (including being able to demonstrate your performance in person) and expert hands-on care. Our clinics are open in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Gateshead, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London and Manchester.

Flexible and accessible online appointments are also available, and BAPAM clinicians are skilled in ensuring that virtual consultations provide effective diagnostic assessment and treatment advice.

BAPAM’s dedicated clinical team provide assessment and advice on physical health, voice problems, mental health concerns, worries about your hearing and other conditions affecting your practice in the performing arts. We support you in overcoming problems quickly, with accurate diagnosis and advice, and help you navigate an effective care pathway.

The BAPAM team can advise about other financial and practical support to help with health problems affecting your work or studies, and we work in partnership with organisations including Help Musicians, Music Minds Matter, PPL, Equity, the PRS Members’ Fund, the Musicians’ Union, Equity Charitable Trust, the Royal Society of Musicians, Actors’ Benevolent Fund and Royal Variety Charity.

BAPAM is a registered charity and a CQC-regulated healthcare provider.
