The British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) is the largest provider of performing arts medicine in the UK. In the last year we have doubled the amount of health education we provide to support performance professionals to avoid health problems that may adversely affect their career. Over the last 6 months this service has developed further to offer more opportunities for mental health and wellness support to help cope with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are delighted to be supporting Help Musicians’ creative awards with a specific health education offering for successful artists and our partnership with the Royal Society of Musicians is also enabling further training and education opportunities. As a result, we are recruiting a Health Promotion Training Assistant to manage the increased activity. You will be educated to degree level, have experience of managing learning opportunities and running events, together with an understanding of the importance of health education to prevent injury in the performing arts. You will be used to working remotely using online platforms and will also need to be able to work from our London office.

If you would like to apply, please contact claire.cordeaux@bapam.org.uk for a job description and person specification.

Closing date will be midday 7th December (12:00 GMT), and interviews will be held the following week. The job will start from 1st January.
