Home » Help keep BAPAM motivated for October!

Hello from BAPAM HQ!

We know we spend a lot of time talking about how you can have a healthier practice and support your wellbeing and others’.

Now the BAPAM Team are putting our money where our mouth is to improve our own wellbeing, as well as advising you how to look after yours, by taking part in the BAPAM Healthy Habit Challenge.

Small changes can have a big impact, so for the month of October, we are doing our best to create and stick to a healthy habit. BAPAM team members have taken on challenges like swimming regularly, walking outside every day, running three times a week, reading a book every week, daily yoga practice, and reducing screen time!

Please help BAPAM support a healthier, more sustainable creative sector.

Thank you for your support!

The BAPAM Team

  • Did you know that 75% of those working in the performing arts will face practice-related physical injury and poor mental health impacting their career at some point?
  • BAPAM is at the forefront of treating nuanced health issues – psychological and physical – encountered by performers, creators and industry professionals.
  • Whether it is the voice of a singer, the shoulders of a violinist, a pianist’s hands, a circus performer’s back, a dancer’s feet, or an artist experiencing anxiety and panic attacks, each case requires highly specialised clinical support.
  • Last year BAPAM supported over 3,000 musicians, dancers, actors, creative practitioners and behind-the-scenes professionals.

By giving to BAPAM you are helping performing arts professionals all over the UK to have access to expert clinician-led help when they need it.
