Dr Dayna Edwin is an Audiologist specialising in hearing health for musicians, vocalists, actors, and performing artists. Dayna is a member of the British Society of Audiology, British Academy of Audiology, and The Academy for Healthcare Science. With a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Nova Southeastern University, she has extensive clinical expertise in noise-induced hearing loss, tinnitus management, auditory processing, and custom hearing protection.
Dayna is experienced in working with musicians, vocalists, and industry professionals. Her background includes providing hearing solutions on tour with a chart-topping pop performer, working on productions such as The X Factor, and performing at Glastonbury Festival. She also organizes an annual punk festival, giving her unique insight into the real-world hearing challenges faced by performers. She also has BSL Level 3 certification, making her practice accessible to Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients.
In addition to clinical work, Dayna is passionate about education and prevention. She has delivered talks at Laban Conservatoire, Liverpool Performing Arts School, and various London primary and secondary schools, educating performers and young people on hearing conservation. Her academic background includes research on noise-induced hearing loss, reinforcing her commitment to evidence-based practice.
Dayna provides tailored solutions to help performers protect and optimize their auditory health through hearing assessments, wax removal, tinnitus support, specialist hearing protection, auditory processing evaluations, and balance testing.
