Kate Le Versha is a qualified and accredited Psychodynamic Therapist, holding a Master’s in Psychodynamic Practice from the University of Oxford. Kate is registered and accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is a member of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP). Alongside working in private practice, she works as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in the NHS and London Contemporary Dance School, The Place. Kate previously worked in the Arts before undertaking clinical training with experience across the creative industries from music, theatre and visual art, to fashion, architecture and design. She is passionate about creativity, and exploring how the arts and psychodynamic therapy might inform one another.
Kate works with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, offering an inclusive and safe space for all. She has experience in working with a range of different issues including those related to performing arts; anxiety and depression, trauma and abuse, bereavement and loss, suicidal thoughts and feelings, alcohol and drug use, self-esteem and confidence, relationship difficulties, important life transitions and struggles with identity. She also has experience in designing and facilitating a range of group therapies in settings ranging from acute inpatient mental health wards to community services.
