Lindsay Smith is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society. Lindsay holds a degree in psychology from Oxford University, an advanced degree in neuroscience and two doctorates in psychological disciplines. She holds an honorary research role at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London.

Lindsay supports performing artists working with their own mental health experiences and within projects with a mental health focus in content or participation. She specialises in blended psychology and arts programmes and works with a model of creative reflective practice which she has developed with dance and movement performers, musicians and actors. She is a founding partner in the private practice, Resonance Psychology, and within the NHS works within specialist gender services.

Lindsay is trained in several evidence-based therapies and works in an integrated way using cognitive behavioural, dialectical behavioural, mindfulness based and compassion focused techniques for most common mental health conditions. She specialises in complex emotional and social difficulties, including attachment problems and relationship issues, and people with previous traumatic experiences.
