Lucy Campion is an experienced Alexander Technique teacher working at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) where she delivers individual and class tuition, and also serves as an academic supervisor in the subject. She works regularly with musicians and actors to help them improve the quality and manner of their performance. Lucy also trained as a musician and performs as a trumpet player, pianist, and choral singer. She also worked as an Orchestral Manager and a Music Department administrator at RWCMD.

Lucy began having lessons in the Alexander Technique during her time as a music student in 2006. Studying the Alexander Technique quickly became an integral part of her training as a musician, and regular lessons helped her through her physically and mentally demanding degree.

Thanks to the study and practice of the Alexander Technique, I feel healthier, stronger, and more connected with myself than I ever thought possible. I enjoy greater flexibility and freedom in my movements, a noticeable improvement in my mental clarity, and an ever-growing confidence in myself and my abilities”.

Lucy trained with the Interactive Teaching Method and qualified as a teacher in 2021. Since then, Lucy has built her Alexander Technique teaching practice, and delivers workshops, courses, classes, and private lessons throughout South Wales. Her approach to teaching and learning is friendly, interactive, and accessible.
